17 Dec The Motorola Nexus 6 Keeps Getting More Attractive
The latest Google flagship mobile device known as the Motorola Nexus 6 is advertised as a water-resistant phablet. One YouTuber has recently put that claim to the test. The results have been rather surprising and have actually taken the mobile community by storm. It turns out that the touted water-resistant device can actually stay fully submerged in water within an hour without breaking down.
Given that the phone has proven to be indeed water-resistant, this is another feature that makes the biggest Android powerhouse in the market even more attractive. Along with the phablet’s best features including the razor-sharp and expansive display, Snapdragon 805 processor and the Lollipop OS, Google seems like it hit the jackpot. Add to its growing list of selling points is the OIS-equipped camera which has been cited by reviewers as an excellent outdoor camera phone.
While it’s really big, wider and heavier than most smartphones in the market, the Nexus 6 looks ideal for people who want the perfect combo of a tablet and a smartphone in a phablet. There are just two hitches, however. The call volume for the phablet is not as excellent as it should be. In fact, it is pretty low on audio speaker. And of course, let’s not forget about the price tag. It is pretty expensive at £499 and £549 for the 32 GB and 64 GB options.
Despite the hefty price tags, however, it looks like that a lot of consumers are already waiting for the Nexus 6 to hit the UK market. Reports said that the phone should’ve already been available in the UK December 1st but there were some delays. Carphone Warehouse, one of UK’s biggest high street names for electronic device, now confirms that delivery will be on 8 December 2014 while Mobiles CO UK expects delivery on 15 December.
